Join us at the Hootenany

Neighbors,

A wonderful “community building event” is happening this coming Saturday evening, October 22nd at the Lake McDonald Club House.

It is a Hootenanny…complete with a hay ride (beginning at the Maple Hills Pool Parking Lot) and a square dance (at the Lake McDonald Club House) beginning at 6:00 PM.

This is a great way to get to know neighbors in the community!

This community building event fits well with the Neighborhood Watch strategy.

Come and enjoy the fun with apple bobbing, Pumpkin decorating, square dancing, snacks and baked good for donations (proceeds will go for the Lake McDonald Club House renovation and / or a defibrillator for the Maple Hills Pool.

Maple Hills Pool kept open an extra two weekends!

Hi All,

After several requests, the board looked at whether we could extend the pool season two more weeks and have approved the funding. Much thanks to Susie Smith and her lifeguards for making this possible. Extended hours will be on Saturday and Sunday from 1pm – 8pm through September 11th.

Please make use of the new hours! The board will be looking at the usage to help inform the pool schedule for next season.

Thanks,
Rob ashby

Movie in the Park

Liberty High School Drill Team would like to invite all residents to Maple Hills Park for its 2nd Annual Movie in the Park Night on August 15th. The movie is family friendly and projected on a 30′x60′ screen. Admission is free, but there will be concessions available for a very low cost (any donations will be accepted gladly!) The movie will start at dusk.  All proceeds go toward competition costs that allow LHS Drill and Pom Team to be a highly competitive team across the State of Washington.

There will be a short video of the LHS team’s 6th place routines from the State Championship that was held in Yakima, WA last March.

Please bring your family, friends, pillows, and blankets! Mark your calenders now for August 15th!

Thank you for your support!
