Eastside Fire and Rescue Open House

Eastside Fire and Rescue is hosting an open house at the Evergreen Community Church Fellowship Hall this Thursday, January 17th.

This open house will be from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and refreshments will be served. The chief wants to share with our communities about the plans to move the Coalfield Station 78 to May Valley Road. The issue of volunteers for the Maple Hills Station 79 will also be addressed. In addition to the four current volunteers at the Maple Hills Station, they need to add two more in order to meet staffing requirements to prevent a home owner insurance increase.

Santa Breakfast at the Fire Station 2012

An annual tradition in our community – the Santa Breakfast! Join Santa & your neighbors on Saturday, December 8th, from 10 AM – 12 PM for a pancake breakfast with Santa at the Fire Station.

For those who can, we will be collecting Nutri-Grain bar donations for Maple Hills Elementary kids that are coming to school hungry. Cash donations are also acceptable.
