Mini Marlins

Mini Marlins are back at Maple Hills Pool!

What is the Mini Marlins?

We welcome kids who are 5+ years old. 4 year olds may join if they turn 5 by August 31st. Priority will be given to HOA resident and then if there are additional spots, we will open it to the outside members. Following outside members, we will then open to individual who are not part of the HOA or Outside memberships, non-members. Students who wish to join the Mini Marlins, must be able to swim 10 yards using a stroke of choice and kick 10 yards with a kickboard or noodle. They must also be comfortable in the deep end and be able to float or keep their head above the water on their own.

  • Mini Marlins is run by the Maple Hills pool and it is here to help improve swim strokes, beginning dives, and teach swim team rules for swimmers who are thinking about joining the Maple Hills Marlins in the future. Our mission is to prepare swimmers to be on Swim Team and to encourage growth and participation in team sports. Although we work with the Marlins, participation in the Mini Marlins does not guarantee a spot on the team when the next season arrives.

  • Practices and meets will take place at the Maple Hills Pool.

    Pricing per Swimmer:

    • HOA Residents and Outside Members in good standing: $240

    • Non-Members: $320

  • May 31st will be our Mini Marlins swim assessment, held from 12:00–1:00pm.
A SignUpGenius link will be sent in May to all families who completed the Interested in Mini Marlins form.

If a swimmer is unable to attend on May 31st, we are happy to arrange an alternate tryout date.

All swimmers—HOA members, outside members, and non‑members—will complete their assessment on the same day. Placement will be determined by swim performance and HOA status. If needed, a waitlist will be created, as the program can accommodate a maximum of 12 swimmers.
